Below is some information on the principal signs we use during our Face the Truth Tours.

Eighth Week of Life

At only eight weeks gestation, all of the internal organs of this tiny unborn baby are already present. Brainwaves can be detected. A tiny face and little hands and feet are visible, and unique fingerprints will soon appear.

Nearly three quarters of a million babies are aborted at about this stage of development every year in our country.

LIFE

The eager face of this beautiful baby boy is a reminder of the joy that every new life brings. Only a few weeks before this picture was taken, this little boy could legally have been killed by abortion.

Every child deserves the chance to be born and to be loved. Yet over 1.2 million unborn babies are aborted each year in our country.

In His Image

Beth Sweigard painted "In His Image" in 1983, moved by a desire to awaken Christians to the spiritual horror of abortion. One side of this sign reads, "Abortion Kills His Children," and the other, "Jesus Forgives and Heals."

God's forgiveness is greater even than the sin of abortion.

First Trimester Abortion

Pro-life activists found the remains of several aborted babies in a dumpster behind an abortion facility in Chicago, IL in 1987, including the baby in this picture. This baby, whose sex could not be determined, was aborted at 10-12 weeks gestation using the suction aspiration abortion procedure. The remains were buried in Evergreen Park, IL.

Notice the details on this baby's tiny but perfectly formed hand and foot. At least 1.1 million first trimester abortions are performed each year in the United States–over 3000 per day.

Second Trimester Abortion

This little boy was aborted at 21 weeks gestation in Dallas, TX in 1993. The abortionist used the D&E abortion procedure, slowly dismembering the baby.

Pro-life activists found his body in the garbage behind an abortion facility. Approximately 150,000 second trimester abortions are performed each year in the United States.

When this baby was buried by the pro-lifers who found his body, he was given the name Malachi, and so this sign is known as the "Baby Malachi" sign.

Third Trimester Abortion

The baby in this picture—a little girl some call "Baby Choice"—was aborted in Houston, TX in August 1987 shortly before she would have been born. The abortionist tore off her head in the procedure. Her jaw is missing.

Pro-life activists found her body in a dumpster in the alley behind the abortion facility. Over 10,000 third trimester abortions are performed each year in the United States.

Additional Signs

In addition to the signs described above, we also use "Help" and "Warning" signs. The Help sign provides an 800-number for help with an untimely pregnancy or deatling with the affects of abortion. The Warning sign reads, "Warning: Graphic Abortion Photos Ahead" and is positioned several blocks before the display, to allow drivers to avoid it if they wish.
